Default Lock door by speed failure???

I just noticed that when I set both "lock door by speed" and "unlock door by shift to P", the following will happen.

1. When first shift from P to D and I drive pass a certain speed, all doors lock themselves automatically
2. Then I stop the car, shift to P. All doors unlock. This is all normal.
3. I shift from P to D again, the speed detection will totally fail! No matter what gear I'm in or at what speed, all doors just keep unlocked as lock I don't shut down the car completely by pushing start button.

This doesn't sound logical to me. I brought it to dealership but they only came up with some lame reasons like ECU needs to be reset to enable that function. Do any of you guys have the same symptoms? Please let me know!

Mine is 13' GS F-Sport AWD.

Thanks a lot!

After step 2, open and close your door then proceed to put car in drive and see if they lock at 13 MPH or so.

I did this earlier just check and doors locked again after pulling off. Have to check your settings and make sure what you want to happen is on.

Thanks for sharing the tips. Yes. After I open and close door, it worked again. So this is how the system was designed to work. Now I'm questioning programmer's logic here...In my mind, it should always lock the door again when travelling above certain speed, just for safety.

The car is probably assuming that if you're putting it in park, you plan to open the door to get out or somebody is going to open the door to get in the car. This makes sense to me.
