CARFAX was clean. Lexus of Monterey said nothing and not a single thing to signify that there was evidence of an accident. I'm thinking more that it might have been overspray but who knows. DD guys are correcting it all anyways so it's not a huge thing.
Signed paperwork on a 2015 GS 450h RWD F-Sport today.
Enclosed transport from CA to VA will take a few days, but I'm stoked none the less.
Build sheet has BSM, Intuitive Park Assist, Lane Keep, Adaptive Cruise, Pre-Collision, Dynamic Rear-steer, and HUD. Power truck, sills, spoiler, etc. No ML though.. but oh well.
Ok, now I can relax a little....a little, damn thing needs to get here. So, I can throw her into the shop for CQuartz treatment, tint, and sound system upgrades...
How did you manage to find a Lane Keep & Adaptive Cruise GS? I've been searching intensely this past week, andhave found only 1 2015 in Canada, and one 2013 that was sold a year ago...
I'm looking for a white 2014, but i have yet to find a single vehicle regardless of color and trim that has either of those options!

Blind luck my friend. Blind luck. Most places I talked to said that anything really beyond BSM, autotrunk, spoiler, NAV, and lighted sills was additionally ordered by the customer. So whoever the previous owner of mine was basically ordered everything but didn't spring for Lux.
So I wasn't totally sure what exact products were going to be employed on my GS. I got this list today.
2 layers of Gyeon MOHS+ topped with Durabead. The wheels coated in G Techniq C5 wheel armor. Glass will be done in FlyBy Forte by Car Pro Plastics done in Gyeon Q2Trim, Tires Dressed in Decked Out.

Crazy
I'm sure they must be charging like 1200-1500 for all that, I contacted detailworks in Dallas for paint correction and they were in that range depending on the services.
Yep. $1,450 after it's all said and done (included $350 for ceramic tint). So about 12-something.
The shop and owner is the best in Virginia...and is say probably this coast. With the amount of paint correction my GS needed and the reputation this place had, it's worth the investment. You should check out their Fb page.
Ok. Update. GS was in for a massive paint correction. Previous ownership must have done the following:
-run it once a week in an automated car wash
-used the trunk lid as a work bench
-previously removed the "hybrid" emblems with a screwdriver
The L/CPO process must have resprayed the rear bumper and possibly another panel. No apparent explanation is necessary when you buy one from a Lexus dealer; only that "touch ups" were made. I did attempt to have all the badges permanently removed (which Dirty Details does to properly apply the MOHS) but the small F's have pilot holes so they had to stay. Since those were there, I had them return the long F-sport on the trunk-face. The "hybrid" badges by the lower rear-door lines had some kind of chipping behind them and just looked spotty, so we put them back on as well. All in all, the only badge that stayed off was the GS 450h on the right-rear trunk face. It has the tell-tale blue "L" so we know its a hybrid.
Extensive mechanical paint correction on all panels, two coats of Gyeon MOHS then a layer of Durabead. The headlights and tailights were trimmed out with Q2 Trim Protection. Windshield has a coating of FlyBy Forte protection.
The tires came off and wheelwells were detailed (including the brakes) also coated. Rims were detailed and coated with GtechniquC5 Wheel Armour.
The brakes are pristine...so much, that I am going to leave them natural.
And how she looks outside the hyper-lighting and 35% SunTek CeramicIR tint applied.
While a few small flaws still exist (wasn't a repaint), the difference is like two different cars. Every panel is an absolute mirror now. Just knowing that the car is t-h-a-t much easier to maintain is relieving. Joe at Dirty Details simply does magic and if you're looking for great work, done right, for a fair price. You ought to make an attempt to get here for it. He took progressive pics while the car was being worked so once that hits his FB page, I'll post a link.
