Default 2013 gs

I recently bought a CPO 2013 GS. With the previous GS models I had, one could hold down the unlock button on the key fob and all the windows and the sunroof would open. This one does not. I searched the owner manual and it instructed me to ask my dealer to program this option. Is it so secret or complex that I can't do this myself?

Thanks

It's a feature the dealer has to change. I just had mine changed so the windows roll down and the sunroof opens.

What is it called exactly? And did you have to pay for them to change?

I don't remember what it was called. I just told them that I saw a few people on the forums that said they were able to roll their windows down by pressing and holding unlock on the key fob and my service advisor wrote the ticket up. I didn't have to pay anything for the change either. It's my understanding that the dealer will change settings like this for you once for free.

IIRC my service tech called it "cool down mode (function)" when I had mine done

My dealer says that they disable this function on every car they sell.

'All close' is a useful feature but it comes with 'all open'. They have had several instances of ham-fisted owners leaving their cars with windows and roof open and coming back to floorpans in 3 inches of rainwater.

I guess they have a point.

It was automatically disabled on my car too. Here in the US we don't even get the option of all close, only all open.

Search Carista. Also, just search . This has been discussed at length.

Carista will do all the dealer only settings for you. You can choose for the moon roof to slide open or tilt open. But no all close option available in us spec cars.
