2014 has folding mirrors, 2013 does not
2013 has six speeds instead of eight

for $4k, maybe. That 8 speed trans would be nice.
Then look at the mileage, 12K less. Yes!

Definitely go for the 2014. Along with the mirrors, 8 speed, and mileage. All these will add to the 4k resale value when you decide to get rid of it.

If both cars have identical option packages, then I'd go with the '13 for less money and use the $$ saved to make any accessory purchases (spoiler, illuminated sills, all season mats, tint, etc.)

A $37k car will cost closer to $40k after taxes/fees. The older '13 $33k car will cost around $36k out the door.

Are they both available for you to test drive (are they local?)?

I would drive them both and see if one speaks to you more than the other. Some people like the 6 speed more, some like the 8 speed more, so it may be worth checking them both out. You may notice other small differences as well that will help point you more towards one than the other.

The cargo net in the trunk, a huge deal breaker if it's not in there.

This makes too much sense.

That's why I don't think most folks would go for this.

Not enough info to make a decision.

As for accessories mine came with all weather mats and lighted door sills
