In looking to do a remote start. A shop that i deal with does the factory remote start for it lexus dealer local to me and he only charge $350. The only thing i hate is that when the is door open it cuts off. He said there is no way around it. Is there a remote start out there that won't cut the car off when going to get in the car while it's running?

 

I think all OEM remote starts are like that. If you want the engine to keep running, you may have to go with aftermarket.

 

I will check another shop. Was looking to see who have a aftermarket system and if it cuts off when opening the door.

 

I have Viper and it shuts off. It's baked into the ECU to do that so there's no aftermarket system that can override it.
