I'd like to know this too. A spider crawled into one of my map lights and died, it would be nice to know how to remove the whole dome light so I can get in there and clean it out.

Ive been trying to do this for a while now. I managed to take off the entire housing, just to find there is no access to the bulbs from the back. So the plastic lens cover must come off. Just havent figured out how. Sucker doesnt want to pop off....

Well turns out to access the leds for the dome light you do have to take the whole panel out. Once you do its very easy to access them by unclipping tbe small tabs that hold it in place. Unfortunately come to find i dont think they are replaceable.....

What i did do is remove this cover piece to make the light brighter. But doing so changed the color of tbe light. O guess that piece makes the light "whiter"

Can you provide a "how to" in getting that entire housing off?

Sure. I started with the clips closest to the windshield. One in each corner. I would suggest starting with the left side if your facing the windshield. Then undo tbe right side second. I used an interior removal tool from pepboys. Just a flat plastic shim. Then just work your way down the sides with the remolval tool. Once tbe sides are undone, push it forward towards the wwindshield and tbe back end will come out. Good luck and be careful with the clip on tbe front right side as it seems its easy to bend. I think you just need to be careful when putting it back that the right corner is lined up

Thanks. i have to tap into a switched power source in there for a dash cam. My current power source setup annoys me.
