I can imagine haha, but I read that you can disable those options through the software maybe? That seems like one of the biggest complaints though. The software and all.

Accidents, road trips, and it looks cool. Mine has the LED that goes side to side like KITT from Night Rider.

This is my favorite use of it.

I passed a truck with cargo that was not safely secured, got ticket for 25 over when in reality, I was doing 5 over (according to GPS log from camera)

And yeah, he actually showed up and put up a fight at least I till I handed the judge a stack of papers. Not sure why it says no plea in the judgement. The camera paid for itself, as this was a $300 ticket.

Hahaha... This is awesome! Definitely need to put front & rear cameras just for that purpose!

Note: I'm 50/50 believe that most of judges will take dashcam data as real proof since it has to be calibrated, certified etc.. Thoughts?

Ugh if you're going to get a dash cam.. invest in a nice one. Don't get a cheap one. Motion sensor is a MUST.. was at my parents house this weekend.. I had my car parked the wrong way on the side walk because I was going to leave really soon and I had to just go in to use the restroom and eat a snack really quick. I wasn't in anyone's way and I was parked in front of my parent's house.. some ***** *** neighbor throws something at my car. Idk who it was, but my car alarm went off and I ran out 30 seconds later to look around and see what was going on. I overheard someone from another house over say "oh, it's that guy".

I ****ing hate the area where my parent's live. A lot of well off nosy people who don't mind their own damn business.

Mine has a parking detector in addition to motion. Basically it'll start recording as soon something hits ur car and triggers the sensor, like parking lot bumpings. But u do have to connect it to a constant power and mine isn't.

hmmmmmmm.. how long does your last without being connected? Like for example you go to work and you park your car in the parking lot. If someone passes by your car or like walks around or. Does the camera turn on briefly?

Mine doesn't have an internal battery but it does hold power for a few seconds, so u get like 3 seconds after the engine is off before everything goes dark. It's mostly for going from ACC to Engine Start, so that it doesn't go on and off.
