well. they called me back today.. I'm going in with the offer of $36k. after my experience with them, I'm going to stick it firm with my offer. I know is a tall order but I'm going to try..
my thing is though, when I buy something, I don't want to repeat myself twice to the sales agent.. this is what i want, this is what I'm going to pay. When you are the buyer/consumer, they should cater to you and not insult you. Well, that's what happened last week..
I'm leaning towards the nebula gray with cab interior or the white with black interior.. if they can do it, I'm going to sign the paper work next week and bring her home.
Let us know how it goes. But I don't think they'll do it
Will do chief. After my occurance with the sales guy disrespecting me and insulting me, their GM wrote me an email. He will try to make things right. We will see how he will make it right.
just spoke with Tony over at Putnam and I'm looking into an new one now.. the cpo prices are just a bit too much for it.. consider taxes and everything.. i be in the $42k's easily, the new one can be had for $47k otd..

Please show details...ie; MSRP/discount and added taxes and fees that result in $47K OTD. Can't do that in my market and would appreciate how it is achieved if that happens with you. Thanks...TomMartin
Just bought a 2013 GS 350 F Sport CPO with 23k miles for $35,900 + TTL today at Valley Lexus in Modesto.
Cheapest certified one I could find in all of CA. I also got the 0% financing for 60 months. I was able to find some competitively priced cars from non-Lexus dealers but I wanted the 3yr 100k mile warranty.
Just picked up my 2013 Non F sport car for 32,800 plus tax/license - 25k miles, BSM, PA. You got a great deal on fsport. I drive low miles so the cpo warranty is overkill since my car has a 3yr remaining on the powertrain warranty already and 45k miles on the 6yr 70k warranty
I called Valley Lexus yesterday about their f sport cause it was priced low for that year + mileage.. sales man came back, it was just sold 30 minutes ago....
all the bay area ones are in the 40's for the same mileage if not more.. i really like the silver with cab interior.
You should search on the Lexus corporate web site for the certified GS350. You can tell F sport by the dark wheels. I started inputting zip codes for LA to get the 200 mile radius down south as well. I'm willing to bet you'll be able to replicate my deal.
I'm going to look at a CPO in socal this morning that I've driven and gone over with a fine-toothed comb. If I close the deal, I'll come back and post my pricing.

post pricing details either way, it is helpful for members when others share their experiences, even if a deal is not made
The best deals for a CPO GS350 F Sport with less than 30k miles in NorCal right now are at Lexus of Fremont. 26k miles for $38k and 13k miles for $39k.
Both are liquid platinum with black interior. There are a couple at Serramonte as well. If it were me, I would play both of those Bay Area dealers against each other.
Got it done!! Just got back from dealership an hour ago.
$37k flat + TTL for '13 CPO F-sport, premium, levinson, 32k miles, brand new tires. Liquid platinum on black. Included next two service appts paid for, 0% financing, unlimited anytime car washes, blah blah. It's wonderful.
I'm still in shock that I have this car. I had a ho-hum '10 Civic LS sedan where the fanciest feature was an aux jack (i'll be selling it shortly). I'm honestly overwhelmed with all of the features in the GS. It's going to take some getting used to this level of complexity in my car. This is a great problem to have.
Sport+ in the hills with the downshift blips.....I'm in love...
I forgot to add, I found the pricing interesting. I actually thought the listed price was quite fair, and seemed lower than some other dealerships. I was at Newport Lexus. The sales guy I was working with told me, especially for used vehicles, they were going to more of a "no-haggle" pricing model. Still wiggle room, but less than expected. He said people tire of the usual negotiating and just want to get in and get out. Putting competitive prices that seem fair upfront actually helps them move more volume (apparently). I took this with a grain of salt of course, but their used car inventory seemed more reasonably priced than other dealers in my area....by several thousand in many cases.
