Default Eco drive indicator

I like the blue light of the Eco drive indicator in the cluster but not the fading aspect of it so I switched it to be on always. By switching it to always on, the light no longer goes red when Sport S is on.

Is there any hidden settings to allow the cluster to light full blue for normal and eco and red for sport?

I don't believe so. If you choose to have the light always On, then it is just the Blue light...and the Red is no longer available.

I actually like the glow, so I have my glow light's intensity level turned up on high and the light is brighter and stays lit a bit longer when stopping than the default intensity level.

First thing I turned OFF in my car was this blue ECO glow..

I didnt like the car challenging me to drive in an economical manner by default and feel this would be more at home in the Prius!!

Darn. Was really hoping there was a hidden sequence like the triple flash lane change thing.

Guess I'll live without the red sport indicator.

i do think it's a flaw in the design. having the blue on all the time without fading shouldn't take away the red in sport

Center display settings (DISP). Push and hold DISP. Go to ECO Lamp. It will give you the option to turn ON/OFF/ON(Always).

If you want the blue light to illuminate in the cluster without fading turn it to always on. But it will no longer change to red when in sport mode.

You do have to be stopped to change these settings too, cant do this while moving sadly..

I am curious how many folks have this turned off, I really did not care for this feature at all and it was the first thing I looked up in my manual, and I rejoiced when it was disabled that first night!

Nor do I like that the car recalls if you leave it in ECO mode, but doesnt recall if you leave it in Sport or Sport + next time you hop in..

After all - I did buy the GS350 F Sport, not the ECO Edition!!

Wait, you mean to tell me everyone doesn't automatically shift into Sport mode when starting the car? That is the first thing I do, even before the radio..
