I'm looking at getting an F Sport in the next couple of months and know that the F Sport doesn't come with the rear window shades on the door and was curious if anyone has added it to theirs and how difficult it is/would be.

I think u'll have to change the door panels and some other stuff, over $1K each. I'd just get a darker tinted windows.

 

That's what I thought. I may have to special order my GS to get the heads up display so I may just see how much they'll charge to do that and then decide if it's worth it or not.

 

You may want to check on this, but I don't think you can order an F Sport with the rear shade - when I ordered my '13, the only way to get it was with the Luxury Package. Shades were not a standalone option. We'll see what's available on the 2015.

I have them in my luxury...rear passengers play with them for a minute and then that's it. I wouldn't bother.

 

Like I said, just get a darker heat resistant tinted windows, it's cheaper than replacing the door panels.

you can get them on fsport. Custom order. I have them. Helps keep car cool in Puerto Rico sun.

 

you can try Laser Shades. It is a removable clip on (magnetic) shades.

 

Next thing which can rattle... Noway! Go tinted.

 

Love it. Need temporary solution for when traveling with dog in back seat. Source for the shades for the GS350?

 

I have them on mine from the Lux pkg. I normally leave them up mainly because NY tint laws are awful. (even at night) I try not to drive too much with passengers in the back as I don't trust my friends

 

I have no idea why carmakers do this. I wanted an F-sport, but I kind of wanted everything else as well. Take my money...
