Are the dome lights in the 4th Gen led. I have a 3GS -2006 & all interior lights are led?

Also does the 4GS have lights underneath the seats as well?

 

Yes the dome lights are LED....and it does have footwell lights front and rear, and LED accent lighting on the doors and console.

 

To add to SW13GS the dome lights are LED but are also way brighter and better than in the 3GS.

 

Yes, the 3GS had VERY dim LED dome lights from what I remember. The 4GS's dome lights are in a nice diffuser.

 

Thanks for the replies! And yes 3GS is very dim. LED lighting has come a long was since 05-06 production.

 

They need to relay that upgrade to the trunk...

 

LOL, ain't that the truth. They threw a standard light bulb in the trunk. Could have had a nice LED strip tucked away but nooo, gotta cut a corner.

 

That and the door lights and the mirrors puddle lights..

Why can't they just give us all LEDs and let us be happy?!

It would be nice if the trunk has the same LED as the dome light.

 

Yeah the trunk light is awful. I couldn't see anything with it at night, had to take out my phone flashlight

 

seriously i dont understand why they don't upgrade their lights on the GS. Its eventually going to get LED turn signals because the LS has them, why cheap out? Its like 200 or whatever it costs is nothing in the grand scheme of things on a 50k+ car

Oh the turn signal is LED, it's just the puddle light under the mirror isn't.

and the trunk is just

 

The turn signal is LED in the mirrors, but not front and rear. That's what he means.
