I just checked Sewell and the OEM battery goes for $800+!!!! I had no idea. LOL

I have always had good luck with Sears Die Hard gold batteries. For about $90+ they have never failed me even when we had a polar vortex and it was -40*F for several days. Lexus can't be that much different than my old Toyota Camry as far as battery requirements.

I can't believe the stock battery and tires are so terrible. Whomever is doing the sourcing with their vendors needs to get fired ASAP.

At this price level it could/will impact customer perceptions.

I've swapped out the battery and tires already. The rest of the car has been rock solid and that's what matters but man what a miss.

Still on stock tires and battery at 29 months and 10k miles. Rock solid.
