My friend got 2013 fully loaded with rear steer, and many many other features that i dont have. Mine is also f-sport but its 2014.

What I found is: his 2013 seats lower about .5-3/4" . Both front and rear wheels. We have same wheels and tires.

His is more responsive and much louder exust nad engine, not sure if this is the effect if the 6sp vs 8sp.

There are different packages for fsport. The cheaper version of the fsport does not have rear steer and some other options that I cant remember now. Also not that if you have the AWD version of the fsport than you will even have less options than the lower tier fsport package. AWD veraions dont have rear steer and big brake kit. And yes the 2013 with 6speed if more responsive than the 8 speed. The 8 speed is smoother though.

 

I know that it can have many options, i was surprised the the heights were different maybe the springs are shorter and the sound is way different

 

I have an AWD and it definitely sits higher than a RWD fsport. The springs are taller... I just dropped mine on tanabe NF210's and it looks great

 

6 speed vs 8 speed
the responsiveness is the same
8 speed is definately smoother than the 6
but on manual mode the 8 speed is more rough when coming down in gears slowing down to a traffic light

 

Sorry , but I agree with the other posts. The eight speed is not as responsive which amazed and disappointed me.

 

Mine is not AWD, its RWD f-sport so was the 2013 model, why its seats lower I have no idea.

Its not just the response, it feels as if it is heavier and you dont hear the roaring sound when you step on it, thats the 2014 models. Disapointing as well
