I have a 2014 GS 350 and have paired it with my iPhone 5S. The message button is greyed out on the phone menu, and when a text comes in it does not announce an incoming message. My wife's 2015 RX will announce incoming messages. I can use Siri to read and respond, but I have to know there is a message, no announcement or no going into them with the button.
Anyone have any suggestions?

 

On your phone turn on bluetooth > under CAR MULTIMEDIA touch the "I" for information on the right side > turn on "show notifications" and that should do it.
