Default Drive Mode Screen

Is there a way to turn off the pop-up screen when you change your drive mode? I find it annoying and can easily look between the gauges to see if I am in ECO, Sport or Sport+ modes.

I'm with you. For the first week of ownership, I thought it was cool, but now find it too boy racer. Combined with the fact that the car is seemingly unable to remember that I want to be in Sport mode, even though that's the mode I select nearly every time I drive the car, the big flashy screen advertisement just adds to the annoyance.

The car isn't designed to remember the Sport mode after a restart. You can thank the EPA for that, fuel economy tests have to be done in the most aggressive mode the car can default to after a restart. Hence why it remembers Eco and not Sport or Sport +.

Be thankful it doesn't default to Eco every time. Some carmaker's products do.

I found a fix for that. It's my wife's duty to put it into sport mode every time she rides shotgun. It works most of the time
