I'm trying decide if I want to lower my AWD 4GS an inch or so. I live in a snowy state so I may end up regretting losing the clearance or ride quality. Does anyone regret lowering theirs for any reason?
Lowered is250 Awd on road magnet springs, really bumpy ride (roads suck in nj/pa/especially ny) saving for coilovers to find a happy median. Pissed I waisted $220 and time on springs cuz I want coils now
as for snow iv been fine with all this crazy snow in jersey.
Nope I'm happy as the car is still functional and looks really good. The car does clear 1 foot of snow but even before the drop it wouldn't. I'm in Boston so I have no problems with the drop.

What kind of springs do you have? Is the ride much harder now?

I have Tanabe NF210 and the ride is soft in normal mode and sport but in sport + its harder since the shocks stiffen up. I'm always in Sport + mode so I don't really like the soft feel.

I regret dropping on springs 2 weeks later got coils and couldn't be happier ever since. I'm from Toronto Canada and we got a ton of snow over here. Honestly my car is slammed and still clears the snow
Yes, I regret my drop by Tanabe springs..its not low enough...
Yeah you wanted slammed.

Yeah usually a better ride but if you want a modest drop the tanabe does a good job. Also OP I will say that once installed it will not look that look as it needs to settle I think it took my car about 3-4 weeks so about a month to finally settle where it is now.
