Default service history

I'm getting annoyed with the way my dealer enters the service history for my car.

When I look up my GS460 VIN (serviced in Florida) on Lexus Owners and pull the service history, here is how JM Lexus entered the 15,000 mile service:
  • Manifold-Muffler
  • No Car Wash
  • Others

When I look up my ES350 VIN (serviced in Georgia) on Lexus Owners and pull the service history, here is how Lexus of Roswell entered the 15,000 mile service"
  • 15,000 Mile Service
  • Perform multi point inspection
  • Rotate Tires
  • Replace Engine Oil
  • Replace Engine Oil Filter
  • Fuel additive and windshield washer fluid
  • Replace wiper inserts
  • Reset Service Indicator

What annoys me is that the JM Lexus service history makes it look like I haven't done the service and I have manifold-muffler work every 5000 miles.

Does anyone know how I can escalate this? JM Lexus just says that their records show I did the service, and they don't know how the Lexus website records are derived.

One would think that there would be a standard Lexus process that all dealers follow. From my experience, the difference in the way that different Lexus dealerships operate is huge! My advice would be to contact Lexus directly about it.

Yes and even the service advisor. One of my colleagues services his GS450H at the same dealer as me, and his service records have much clearer descriptions. Different service advisor.

I have the same thing with my car. Service in MN clear as day. Service in Chicago, not so detailed. I called and got copies of exact work order/bill.

Just a lazy person doing the data entry.

My service history online with Lexus Canada never makes a lot of sense either. Things like valve spring replacement showing up as "GASKET".

The odd thing is, service done at Toyota on the Lexus history online seem to show up much more accurately. Oh well, what can you do?
