Plug your numbers into this lease calculator. At the bottom, it will give your lease a score. Anything with a score of 90+ is "GREAT"

My cousin put 2k down-27 months and 10k a year and pays 591 a month. I would hold out. Dealers have been pushing the F sport out cause they feel they have not been the "hot" seller they where expecting.

Not sure how the market is like in VA. But the deal is luke warm in CA.

From your post, looks like dealer is discounting $5365. This is good but I think the dealer can do better if they are trying to clear out the '13s.

Also, rebate should be $2500 + First month payment.

Money factor may vary by state. See if you can get your dealer to show you documents that show you what the rates are for VA. Here in CA they are 0.0005.

At 745 a month, I am assuming you have 0 drive offs.

Rebate is with first month payment and $745 w/ 0 drive off. I believe it's 0.0008

The calculation does not seems right.

I used LeaseGuide.com to plug in your numbers and use 6% tax rae for VA and came out with $607.59 per month for 27 mths.

I ran this through the calc and I get $591.13 with you paying everything out of pocket. So, they are rolling something into the lease. I think its the $399 processing fee. When I add that in I get $606.

In VA he has to pay taxes upfront on the whole purchase price, theres not a monthly use tax. So wrapping the taxes into the lease adds $3,245.58 to the cap cost, which has a much larger impact on the payment than a monthly use tax like you have in CA.

So you need to add $3,245.58, $700, $399 (VA dealers charge this BS Fee), 350 for tags to the cap cost. When I add all that in I get $769.71, he pay have a trade or something that is reducing the taxes.

Right...he put 2k down...this guy is putting nothing down. He has 10k a year...this guy is 15k a year. He's in CA presumably like you and pays a monthly use tax vs all the tax upfront. Totally incomparable situations.

Putting 2k down reduces the payments by that amount divided by the amount of payments, so $74 a month. Add $74 to his payment and you get $665, add in the tax differences and the fact that this deal is 15k and your cousins is only 10k. I would say this deal is actually better than your cousins.

10K a year killed it. We are in S.Fl so we pay taxes monthly with the payment. He had an 06 GS he traded in that he was upside down in. So they worked the deal so he could have money left over on the trade.
