Default Does anyone really use voice commands?

I've had my GS for a little over a week and am just now starting to dig into the Enform/tech features. I've read the manuals and sought other misc instruction...is it me or does the voice command kinda suck? Nothing seems very intuitive. My gf just got a 2013 ford fusion hybrid and I have to say that the Ford MySync makes much more sense.....is it just me? maybe I haven't spent enough time on it yet.

I only use voice recognition when making a call and it works fine.

Voice works fine, just takes a bit of time to get used to it... & a bit of memorizing of certain words/phrases for specific commands.

Have never used it in any of the cars I've owned that had it.

I think we'd all be well-served to get used to voice command of vehicle functions. This is THE interface of the future.

I think in 4-5 years the systems will be much more user friendly. It's ok for phone use and some nav, but by the time I say 4 commands just to 'make it warmer', frost bite has set in and now I have to have my toes removed just to save a leg!

I wish they would have included a way to turn on the heated and ventilated seats with voice command...because right now if I'm using the cup holders, it's tricky to see which button i'm pushing. That would have been a practical application of VC.

Lmao..

They should replace it with google instead. It's so annoying to use nav; too many steps.

Its a weak spot along a lot of manufacturers, and Lexus' system has been improving. My GS is a lot better than my 2010 ES which was a lot better than our 04 Prius. The voice control in our Jeep is a disaster, and you HAVE to use it to control the phone, there is no screen phone input, its all voice.

I never use it. Too archaic. They need Nuance. And don't get me started on the mapping. Talk about something 20 years old! Are they under contract to someone on this stuff? Gimme a break.
