Default Grill Removal

Can someone please provide instructions or part of the workshop manual to remove the upper grill and chrome piece on the front bumper? I want to paint the middle piece between the upper and bottom grill. Thanks guys!

It was already posted. I don't remember the thread title. Try searching for it.

Have you tried Google? I mean, it's not that hard to do a search.

This article indicates that its a DIY for the 2006-2013 IS and GS but i'm not sure if it applies to the 2013 GS: https://www.clublexus.com/how-tos/a/...-grille-365646

Others on the forum have swapped to the f-sport grille and have indicated that removing the bumper isn't necessary but there are so many clips involved that you have to be careful if you go that route:

I did the grille removal on my previous IS and it was fairly straightforward - followed the aforementioned DIY on how to remove the grille...

I'm sure other members that have done this can provide some insight...

I have tried google. Nothing showed up. That's why I'm asking here. Totally useless comment on your part.

Thank you. I checked the DIY you posted but I doesn't look like it applies to the 4th gens.

Just follow simple logic steps by removing plastic clips one by one... nothing complicated, simple!
