Well I noticed the rattle comes from the window switches for some reason (maybe I'm mistaken) I will try to figure it out tonight and take the car to the service on Friday to do the trunk too.
that's where the rattles came from before i had them insulate it. now it seems like it moved up to the aluminum trim piece.
dropped my baby off at Lexus this morning to address the TSB for the trunk and the interior trunk release (in case you fall in the trunk and the trunk slams on you, j/k) i also have them applying a high gloss powder coat to my wheels. i was given a satin cashmere 2013 ES350 as a loaner (that's all they had). the ride is even cushier than the previous ES models, the steering is ultra light and when you take your foot off the gas the engine speed decreases, you can feel a slight jerk when you release the gas instead of the car gradually slowing down. the ride felt strange... maybe because i'm used to driving the GS.
I keep hearing about the power trunk on gs350. I want to know if all the gs350 in the US don't have the power trunk or is it some kind of option you can get with the GS?

That option is not available on the 2013 GS in the US
well I got finally fix the rattle issue in the driver door at the dealer ,,, but the trunk i was told nothing wrong with it .. :s
wow nothing wrong it. does your trunk fly open when you open it, is it hard to close? if the answer to the questions are yes... then there is something wrong with it. take it back and have them do the Trunk TSB.
My GS was built after the Vin# on the TSB.The trunk never flew open but the trunk was a hard to close.Seems much better now than when I first got her.Or maybe it's just that I know how much pressure to use when closing it.
In any case,it doesn't seem bad anymore.

it doesn't fly open but I always when closing it had to do it two times! sometimes when I try to close it from the corner i had to do it 3 times! when took for 5k service i was given 2013 es350 the trunk is to easy to close! i'm pissed im gonna take it back and try any new GS they have at the dealer to compare!

the TSB works... it feels as though they installed a weight on the trunk (even though that's not what they did) and i can close it a little from it being fully open and it closes by itself.
