Is this normal?
I was in the garage today doing some work with my car in the driveway, unlocked just a few feet away. As I was working I heard/saw my lights flash and the car do the infamous locking/unlocking beep noise. I thought it was odd because my keys were not in my pocket and no one was home to accidentally touch them. About 10 seconds later the neighbor walks out to his car, pressing the unlock button to his '12 Toyota Corolla, again I look up because they make the same exact sound, but this time it was his car making the noise.
I then proceeded to find my car locked! As he got out of the house he pressed the lock button (by accident) which locked my car which was a good 30 feet away. After talking to him and joking around about how he could steal my car, I couldn't help to walk away feeling a little bit nervous about this.
Any input, odds compare to getting struck by lighting? or an Issue?

Totally possible.
I actually sat in a black SC after unlocking it... it wasn't mine. Owner saw me close the door and was screaming thinking I was breaking into his car. My car was one isle over. What are the chances of 2 black 97 SC's in the same parking lot... not at a meet.
For whatever reason, our cars fobs were on the same frequency. My SC came from Atlanta originally and his came from Seattle. We could lock and unlock each others cars.
Now the ignition keys themselves were different cuts.
The 3rd fob for my GSh is from an ES350.
I do think its weird that a corolla has the same frequency.

Totally off subject, but I was at the gym the other day and I have a blue master lock and a guy opened up my locker with the same combination. It turns out we both had blue Master locks and have the same combination.
Now what are the odds of that?
