My brakes just recently started squeeking. It's annoying as hell! I'm at 9.7K miles on my Fsport. Ill be going to the dealer soon for my 10K service so ill bring it up to them, then.

Some brake manufactures simply suggest easy braking for the first few hundred miles (similar to the Lexus manual and its suggested break-in period). So I was hesitant to do this with my brand new Lexus. But then I thought I always do this whenever I install new pads and rotors so this should be no different.

We'll see how things turn out. Right now I barely have 500 miles and I'm planning to do a second set of bedding tonight.

Never heard of this and have been a "hobby" mechanic all my life. It makes sense...love it!

Well even after doing the bedding my brakes started squealing at 5k miles, now it has 7k miles and it's getting worse. I'm going to redo the bedding to see if that helps. Theoretically it's possible that the original 'layer' got rubbed off so we'll see if re-bedding make any difference.

I'm pretty sure changing pads and rotors won't make any difference.

Last week I posted a problem with my GS350 2013 brake noise and forgot to mention that it was a F sport model, it that makes a difference.

After 40,000 miles, my front rotors are now down to 28mm thick, with the min recommended at 27mm, so I purchased a pair of brand new genuine GS front rotors at 30mm thick.
Purchased brand new genuine GS front pads, and I was told to purchase brand new GS front brake pad shims too.
The genuine shims cost more than the genuine pads!

At first, the brakes were whisper quiet.
Now, several weeks later - they're squealing again; I will have to change the brand of pads next time.

However I do remember that last time when I removed the pads, and sandpapered the surface of the pads, and tidied them up, the squealing did stop for a long time until the pads were totally worn out, and the wear indicator stepped in, so maybe I will just service these brand new pads first with some sand paper...

What is the LSB # for the F-Sport. I can only find the one for the Standard and luxary model.

In for my 10000 mile service. They do have a fix now for the F-sport RWD. New pads are on order and should be in Thursday. I hope to have this issue resolved Friday. Keep everyone posted.

Does any one have the TSB number or link copy so I can get it printed out. My brakes make a grinding sound for the first few brakings when the car is taken out of garage in morning or after work. Then it goes away. Did not have this before. I have the GS350 F-Sport AWD 11,000 miles.

I notice this same thing. At first, after I washed the car. I thought maybe the remained water. Then I still hear the noise in the morning, but it goes away as I drive/speed up. I'm going to need to pay more attention. Mine is at 4K now but I started hearing this a few weeks back. It hasn't bugged me enough to bring in but if it doesn't go away, I guess I will need to have it checked at 5K service. Mine is stock RWD Luxury.
