My dealer says that the smart card key from Sewell does not work with the 2013 GS F-Sport as it is compatible with the LS600h and other upper end Lexus. The key is not opening any of the doors and not starting the car unless you put key near ignition for more than 5 seconds. We replaced batteries 4 times with the chief mechanic confirming that for the GS right now there is no compatible smart card key so do not buy the ones online right now, I am a bit disappointed but hell the car is awesome so that matters more.
I hear it is compatible with 08 IS350 but please do confirm!
The Smart Card Key is not going to offer full features for the 2013 Lexus GS F-Sport as Lexus assistant told me they do not produce them for the later models thus you will be buying something that is half-baked to work with the later cars. So right now, I cannot open door keyless nor start ignition without holding wallet key for 5 seconds next to igntion which I find ludicrous for the price. So I will wait until Lexus comes out with new Smart card Key for the GS350 F-Sport. I will return the smart card to Sewell Lexus.
