I think Remote Touch will remain a Lexus-exclusive interface. Lexus may get the Entune software package, we'll see.
If the Entune system is superior to lexus touch in terms of Internet integration, why shouldn't it completely replace the existing lexus one? Shouldn't Lexus have the most premium system in Toyota's line?

Lexus is not as committed, I cant think of any vehicle besides the ISF that exudes performance in the lexus Lineup - LFA excluded of course

system is pretty different from interface. touch screen vs remote touch (interface) don't have that much to do with entune. it's just like you can have mouse or touch screen, but whether you are running windows or ios, it's separate.

me myself, i see both good and bad on touch screen vs remote touch. it's a toss

Well, my main point is that I hope Toyota does not leave us lexus users behind as they attempt to compete with sync. Lexus should be the brand that LEADS the telematics functionality competition inside Toyota.

agreed, but what's "behind" and what's "advanced"? that's to be decided by customers i guess. i have both lexus and other brand vehicles. like i said touch screen has their goods, but also bads. finger prints is actually only a small part of it. the problem of not able to mount the screen higher up on the dash (less distraction) and more inward (avoid glare) are two bigger problems.

i have had people in my ls460l and gs350 complaining that they can't see the screen (sun glare)

it's a tough call either way i am sure

That's the beauty of this forum and this thread specifically. 33 pages and still going strong without any real clue as to what the 4GS will actually look like or a definitive release date.

I'm really saving my quarters for the GS-F I really hope they put it out cause I'm first in line at my dealership
Yeah I'm just hoping that they learn from whatever mistakes they may have made with the IS-F, if in fact there are any. This GS-F needs to be on par with the M5 and not trail the E AMG or S6 in any capacity. They need to come out of the gate in the same manner in which they did with the 2GS when that debuted. I commend Lexus for finally shedding (albeit slowly) label as slow conservative and in some circles old man cars. This car should have been created already but with the approaching 4GS coming this will be a lovely way to round out this line up and make waves while doing so.

When's the new M5 coming out? Maybe I'll get that one.

Yes a 100k is steep. If I spent a 100k I would buy a Quattroporte not an M5.

For me I've mentally decided Panamera Turbo or GS F. I cannot get the ugly Panamera out my head

I have two people in my building that have Panamera Turbos. One is driven by an older lady driving a silver one and there's a middle aged guy who owns a completely black one that looks awesome - the whole car is black including the wheels! It's out of my price range, but I think they look amazing!
