Nice to see Lexus is finally updating their diesel engine. They have been using it for what 5 years now.

Really? I didn't know that. Do you have pictures maybe? I would love to see it.

And regarding those headrests I think one that is buffed is the active headrest that pushes your head forward when you get into accident. Could be thats its part of the PCM package.

yes that seems to be the case. like i said seems like lexus is trying to trigger down stuff from LS to the new GS. they are all great, though i wonder how that will stack up on the option prices. especially the rear armrest controls, that's not cheap
I hope they dont go BMW crazy on price because of these options.

I think thats Lane Keep Assist (LKA) correct me if I'm wrong, the LS has this. You know with all these huge features coming from the LS I wonder what the new LS will carry

Looks like the grain in the wood showing through the tape:

It better be wood, plastic there will not work.

The button pictured above and labelled ejection seat is for the adjustable side bolsters.

"Lane Keep Assist" system for sure... I beleive the LS, HS and a few other know have it now...

"Blind Spot Monitor" system for sure .. I believe is available on the RX, HS and maybe a few others...

Don't forget the "Heads Up Display" system... As seen on the US Test mules ..

The one with the wood steering wheel should have wood accents in same color..

The one with out the wood, might have metal or another hybrid eco material..

From this pic a similar pattern is showing through the tape, and that is positively wood there:

Underneath the wood is metal trim like with BMW. You can also see the outline of the metal trim through the tape.

awesome seats, especially with the multi-part headrests (better than the ones in the mules with flat headrests).
