4GS mega thread (UPDATED; preview drives, specs, more interior pics)
Its only minor tweaks. I was just trying to get my point across.
i am sure someone will do the actual ****, although i think it is too much, original one is just more elegant.
honestly, more and more i look at prototype pics, interior looks better and better.
that much leather cant be found on LS.
Realistically, this might kill LS sales.

IMHO, you can see how this influenced 2012 GS interior... it looks like mix of this and CTh and LFA... for instance curve at the bottom of HVAC console, how it meats the tunnel and then sides of the tunnel being closed off, with seat warmers and storage bin before transmission? move the screen up and thats what you are left with...

That's the LS600hL though, it's over twice the price. It's a nice interior, especially the pebble beach version:

But considering what they've done with the GS at half the price, it should be interesting to see what they do with the next LS. The next S-class has been spied sporting LCD gauges, perhaps it will be the trend for higher end cars.

i cant even think what will next gen LS interior look like at 20k extra.
Toyota has had one Crown Hybrid model with LCD instrument cluster for a while now in Japan, but I dont think it looks attractive really... a combination like LFA is a lot better looking IMHO.

Lexus GS Coupe?

Just the Facts:
Lexus is considering a coupe version of the soon-to-be-revealed 2013 Lexus GS 350 sedan.
The GS Coupe would compete with Audi A5/S5, BMW 650i and Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe.
It would be the spiritual successor to the SC 430, which Lexus recently discontinued.
It probably wouldn't hit the market before the spring of 2013.
SANTA MONICA, California — Next month Lexus will reveal the production version of its all-new 2013 GS 350, but the automaker is already seriously considering a coupe version of the sport sedan.
If Ben J. Mitchell, Lexus' product planner manager has his way, the GS Coupe will happen. "I'd like to do a coupe," he told Inside Line. "We're really trying to increase the emotional qualities of our brand. We want to emphasize exterior styling and dynamics." According to Mitchell, Lexus is at the moment involved in a "fairly active study of coupe opportunities."
