Default Smart Access Entry and Start not working

Hello all,
My 2008 GS 350 AWD smart access system is not working. I have to use the emergency key to open the door and push the start button with the lexus logo on the key fob to start the car everytime.
The system occasionally works only for few hours sometimes then stop again. In the last 4months it has worked about four times on different occasions then stop. I have tried to pin-point what triggers it to work sometimes, I couldn't just figure it out yet.
I got the car 6months ago pre-owned.

The key battery isn't the problem I have up to four new batteries.

The key is also working, as I had it tested with a key programmer by a locksmith. It transmits the correct 315MHZ.

I have tried programming a new key but the the car is not accepting another key. My new key matches the old one, same board number, FCC ID and all that. The new key was also virginised before the programming was attempted.

I checked the car battery, it is fully charged at 12.8Volts.

I know the lexus smart key system can be really Complex, any help on what could be the failing part that makes up the smart entry system?

It is really annoying having to bring out the emergency key everytime to open the doors.

Only when you have issues, does the key fob led light come on when you press the button? It could possibly be dirty, or worn contacts on the key fob. You can simply remove the battery clean the terminals with alcohol and with a flat screw driver gently bend the tabs (do not break them) so that they put more pressure on the battery contacts.

Thanks for your response. The key fob LED light flashes when I press the button. I have also opened the panel and cleaned with electronic cleaner. The Key works fine like I wrote earlier.

Im just guessing, please do not throw parts at it, in hopes of a repair. but it could very well be the actual immobilizer module thats in the dash. Its probably best to take to the dealer or someone who specializes in electrical diagnostics. Because it also be a poor connection to the module, a good tech will measure the power
