Changing engine from 3GR-FE to 3GR-FSE
Hello.
I have a 2005y GS300AWD with 3GR-FE engine, My question is that, can I take an 3GR-FSE from my friends GS300 RWD. It is 2007y,

You could, but you would need the ECU to go along with the engine. I wouldn't bother, and actually, I would keep the 3GR-FE, not the FSE. The 3GR-FSE is prone to carbon building and excessive oil consumption.

Everything else fits? Ecu is plug and play or wiring is diifferent too? Just asking because my friend has fse engine and its in very good shape, but my car has FE and it has many faults. Oil leaking, chain noise and so on.
