You will have to remove the valve covers because the seals are inside the valves covers. Its not a difficult job
I've seen where some people replace the seals on ls460 without removing valve covers. Is this something specific for ls460 but not for gs350, which I have?

Totally different engine! Heres a video on how to remove the valve covers, on a 2006 GS300 that engine design and layout is close to the GS350. If you scroll to 35:00 mark you can clearly see how they are located inside the valve cover and he tells you how to replace them. Also why not grab a socket and wrench and just try to tighten the valve covers and snug them up to make sure none are loose.

thanks again for the response, I'll take a look at the video
If your mechanically inclined, its not that bad of a job. I followed the same video, and was able to replace the valve cover gaskets, and the spark plug tube seals.
