Default Cabin fans stopped working?

So today I just got in the car and after afew minutes it got pretty hot and realized the fans weren't working. Low to High, recirculate to fresh air. The fans weren't spinning. Turned off the car and on, turned off the fans and on. No go... Anybody have any experience with this?

I would start by locating the fuse to the AC system and making sure it is ok

More likely blower fan may have went out on you, easiest way is to grab a test light. See if you can crawl under the passenger side of the dash, you may or may not have to remove the glovebox (should be easy tabs in the top) and that should show you the blower. Undo the plug and with the controler on see if any of the leads in the connection get power to them. If there is power then the motor is bad if there isnt power then its somewhere else.

If you go on car-part.com or ebay you can search in your area for local salvage yards and might get lucky with a used low mileage motor. They are plentiful and do not go bad often. I would avoid aftermarket as some have complained that they are crap. New they are pretty pricey!

Thank you so much for the response... Today the fans worked upon turning on my car no problem... It's so weird nothing is wrong and working as usual... do you think it's still going to go out?

Did the problem ever return? I'm getting this issue on a hotttt day. But if I shut the car off give it a minute and turn it back on all works again no issues. Not the digitizer/screen as that works fine, and once restarted everything functions as normal. The fan just chooses when it wants to respond on a super hot day after sitting for a long time. It seems like if I use it regularly (or multiple times in a day) the problem goes away. I'm suspecting a bad (or going bad) relay/fuse/blower but looking to see what others have experienced before I start ripping things apart/throwing parts at it.
