Back during the winter I noticed a few time during a very cold start (we are talking single digits outside) when fan was at higher than 3, it was making some weird motor noises (like clipping fan or something mechanical). I got around it by switching between high and low fan speed, until it went away. Only happened during the cold weather. I also noticed that when I select a mode to blow air only on the windshield and feet, I still feel air coming from the center console which supposed to correspond to when air directed at face. Yesterday on a way home, I felt like out of nowhere a cold A/C air start blowing at my feet while I had A/C off. By turning the fan on/off a couple of times, it went away. This is just strange.

Anybody else experienced that?

I guess I was under impression that when you have air directed at feet only, the upper vents will be shut off automatically, but I still sense an air coming from there. Hmm, maybe its normal? I wiil have them check it at my 5k service.

Ice chunks? Small animals? Dunno... mine is very quiet.... prob. just a combination of things that won't likely happen to you again...
