continual CV Axle boot replacements (2006 GS 300)
Have a one-owner '06 GS300 (bought new in 2005) with 120k miles on it. Had to replace front L and R CV Axle boots at 90K and repeat of Left front Axle boot at 115K. Just did 120K service at Lexus and had them check right side. Its marginally leaking but recommended not to replace yet. Any insight on why these are wearing out so frequently seeings how first ones lasted almost 100K and now looking at replacement x 2 in span of 25k miles?
Also, serpentine belt noted to be glazed (caution but recommended not to replace yet). Common problem to replace this belt?

When you replaced the cv axle did you use oem or aftermarket cv axles? If you used aftermarlet China cv axles they are pretty much garbage and do not last long. From what I read they dont use neoprene in there boots, and use a cheap silicone. I would purchase oem cv axles or reman Cordone brand from rockauto.com they are oem rebuilt and use a higher quality boots. I just recently replaced my front driver side cv axle (@186k miles) with one.
Maybe its the cold weather making the rubber brittle.
