Hello guys, I have a problem and I need help. I just spent the last 30 minutes searching for my dilemma but no luck.

I wanted to wrap my center console in vinyl so I took it out exactly the way it's been done in videos. After unscrewing the shift ****, I pushed the power on button twice without pressing on the brake so that I can move the shifter to neutral, allowing me to pull off the wood and console. While trying to get comfortable, I accidentally pressed the power button again and the car shut off with the shifter in neutral. I unplugged the little connections from the center console while the car was off. I then slid the lever back to park. I attempted to press the power button X2 and it said SHIFT TO PARK with other warning lights. I decided to connect everything back just in case.
After attempting to turn on the car, the dash went blank and the yellow check engine light comes on. When I try to turn it on, it makes no attempt to start(no clicking sound). The weird thing is I can press the brake and the shifter moves, even while the car is off.

I disconnected the battery and waited a minute, after I connected it back, the same thing. Please help, I have no clue what I did wrong. The battery is definitely still working since the greeting lights still work but nothing happens. Any thoughts?

Update: after all that, turns out it killed the battery. Bought a new one, everything works fine.
