Hello Every one I was wondering if anyone would know a way to remove the third brake light in a 2006 gs430 and if so how would i go about removing it? I got my window tinted and the tint guy did not do the entire rear window because he was not able to remove the third brake light in my car.

 

I believe it’s connected to the rear deck. I know, hard to believe, but I believe you need to remove the rear seats, then the rear deck, to get it off.

 

Go to another shop. No need to remove brake light. Had mine done. Did not remove the brake light.

 

Same here the tint guy tinted the whole back window on my gs450.

Your guy probably did it because it would be safety hazzard to cover the rear brake light since it makes it less visible
