Default button bulbs

this photo is not mine, just using it as an example...

Does anyone know how to replace the bulbs in this overhead panel?? The bulbs im referring to are for the buttons.. The buttons that light up at night so i can see what im pressing. those bulbs are no longer lighting up. does anyone know how to replace them?? All of the other bulbs work fine. the spot light, and door lights all come on. only the button lights no longer work... i circled them in the image..

this is for a 2008 GS 350

Are you sure those buttons are supposed to light up? Mine have always been dark.

The buttons do not light up. They never have.

You can't. They are SMD LED. You would need to desolder and solder a new bulb in.

i could almost sware i looked up at night and was able to see what button i pressed... its been about a year since then.... maybe it was my other car. But why??. Why would those not light up at night, but ever other button in the car glows in order to see what your pressing. Like window switches and even my vents glow so i can see if there opened or closed.... that's just crazy that those panel buttons don't light up.
