Default Any known problems 2011 GS 350 all-wheel drive

I recently purchased a 2011 GS 350 all wheel drive with the 18 is bears on it. And I noticed that the ride is a little different kind of rough just want to know if that's normal. I wanted to know also is there any other issues with the 2011 GS 350 all wheel drive.

Water pumps go out after 90k miles, other then that its very solid. Water pumps can be had on ebay for $100 (aisan brand oem supplier) and about 2-3 hours to install it.

AWD dont like to be lowered if you plan on lowering them as the driveline will shake.

I have an 11. I was told the WP in an 11 is not a problem by the lexus dealer. He said if you are really worried get a stick mirror and look under the WP pulley once a month. He said he never replaced one on an 11, but they are probably out of warranty now and not that many were sold.

I think by 11 every problem was ironed out of this generation. You may want to change the trans fluid and filter.

I did noticed that the shocks are a bit stiff when I first got it, but it seems to be fine now. Maybe because it sat many months. No complaints.

you never have to worry about the waterpump if you change the fluid once a year ,mines on 147,000 ..my car is a 2010 gs350 never had a issue ,my shocks died at 138,000 each front shock was $62 each $230 in labor

Keep an eye on it for pink slime under the pulley. Too me thats too risky, as several members have lost their engines by warping the heads by over heating due to not replacing a simple $100 water pump and 2-3 hours labour.
