Guys,

Today was very cold 9 F, when I tried to open the rear door by touching the handle, the car kept on beeping and hear some sort of clicking sound without unlocking the rear door, the two front doors unlocked just fine. The car battery was replaced last year and the car started instantly. When I try to unlock the doors from the inside, only the front doors would lock/unlock and both rear doors you would hear a clicking noise trying to unlock.

what can i do? is it the actuator for each door?

 

Your rear lock actuators may have had some condensation on them that froze due to the low temp. Wait until it warms up and see if they function normally before you start taking things apart/replacing them.

 

yes, they both started to work when turned the heater on and made it hot inside the car. Thanks

 

Mine has been doing the same thing. I would have to press the lock/unlock button on the driver side door about twice to get the rear driver door to open. The fact that the parking lights turn on/off about 5 times is quite annoying.
