Default Shocks and struts replacement?

Keep hearing this clunking in the rear end when going over bumps, was told by the dealer that I needed rear suspension replaced. Saw this and figured I would do it myself, what about Springs, don't I need Springs? If so anyone know what the factory Springs are?

also how difficult of a job is this? I've replaced water pumps alternators brakes and a few other nick-nacks, but nothing major.

Its fine to reuse the old springs! You will need to rent a spring compressor from your local parts store. I would also replace and check the suspension bushings, grab a pry bar and press against the bushings. I would also replace the front lower control arm big bushing, its cheap and will help tighten the steering.

Theres only 1 on each side that does fail but it, usually it wont appear it has failed. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-ORIGI...kAAOSwEH9ZaAtx

I would test the rest of the bushings with a pry bar and see if theres any cracks in the rubber.
