alternator was barely charging, so changed it out. Now power steering and a/c not working. what should i check for ?

 

Check the battery voltage, make sure the terminals are clean and solid. Especially the nut on the terminal take it apart and clean it. If your are not getting above 13.3 volts with the car running then your issues is with the alternator or wiring.

 

If played the AM radio it will be very noisy with whining kind of noise. Also lights could flicker. It could be a battery problem (like one cell short internally).
