I posted recently about a poor experience at a local tinting shop. This led me to realize the felt on the inner, second window lip has worn away in some places causing the window to 'grip' it as I roll the window down. I've tried dry lube and that actually made it worse. It causes the amperage to rise in the window module which cancels the 'auto roll up/down' feature. Is it worth trying Silicon Lube instead or is there another approach to 'revive' the felt on this window seal?

 

Problem solved. I popped off each door panel and trimmed the second, lower felt seal with a razor blade. All is well again.
