In the 20.5-21.2 range.

I've never seen it go under 20, even with a/c and city driving. Many of my trips are under 10 miles too.

Exhaust work pushed it up.

I'm 23.1-4ish with city driving. I also use pennzoil plat 5w30 hm. Maybe that helps a bit too. I don't use the A/C much in the fall, but I use it sometimes.

When I got it, it had a dirty air filter, dirty throttle body, dirty airbox, got barely 16ish in the winter. I cleaned it up, new Denso air filter, cleaned airbox, Throttle body, new PCV, and mileage went up. Ran two bottles of techron too. Then got the exhaust done. (had a thread on that).

Not saying all of the above will help you, but that is what I did. I believe that should be done to any car after a period of time.

Thank you for the tips. I think I will call Lexus tomorrow and see what they say.

Maybe you or someone else will know this....Wouldn't a fault 02 sensor cause the CEL to come on? My CEL has never come on.

It depends. There is a OBD-II is designed so components can degrade to a point and no CELs. That is why diagnosis is important. How is power?

Power seems to be fine. It moves quick. Haven't checked via 0-60mph or anything but it comes out of a red light quick. Just out of curiosity do you use the sport sifter or just leave it in regular and do you use power mode or snow mode or just keep the button set to normal? I've tried all of the above and see no difference in mpg really, but was just curious.

I just did my recall today. I am glad that I did, because they found a bunch of stuff wrong with my car, which are legitimate. They say that my water pump is noisy, but not leaking. It has been on my to-do list. They say that my rear brake calipers are frozen and needs the brakes replaced. I am wondering if this is why I am getting crappy fuel economy. Those are definitely big findings for me, along with all the other little things they found.

If anyone is interested in what exactly is done during this recall, you can see the instructions of how they perform the repair here:

How'd you convince them to come to you? I'm in the same situation. How would I get them to do this for me as well?

My car was not like this before the recalls.
Wow, 11mpg is unheard of.

I used to average 25-27 mpg highway 70-80mph avg with ac on and now I only average 22-24 after the recalls.

I'm getting 23mpg with 30% city. Quite disappointed, although I'm mostly around 80mph on highways around here.

Was your mpg higher before the recalls?
