My starter went bad huh? *Video included*
Hey guys! Long time no talk..after 10 years of owning my 08 GS350, my first major issue. Guess it was going to happen eventually. All my lights are good, battery is not old by any means and just cleaned all the terminals. Now I'm left between alternator and starter. But I'm thinking with the way it is in this video I think it's my starter. Also the first time I tried turning it on the push start button would stay lit green, then turned into a pulsing green. Also a few times it tried turning on the only light that came on was the check engine light. What do you guys think?

Most likely starter but first did you test the voltage to the battery and or tried to jump it? Also test the power going to the starter to make sure it is getting power before you tear it apart.
For starters you have options, you can jump on car-part.com search near you for your closest salvage yard. You can use starters off new low mileage 2017 2016 2015 GS or IS they all use the same starter and can be had used for cheap maybe less then 100 bucks. Better then using an aftermarket imo, you can also rebuild yours with new brushes for $55 bucks.
