PCV change interval?

I know on Fords they suggest about 60K. Are these valves meant to be changed? I mean, they are dirt cheap, but is there an interval?

I change it every oil change. May not be necessary, but it's only a $5 part and it's right there.

I don't think the manual have a specific interval.

I follow my maintenance by the book and the book doesn't say anything about replacing the PCV valve on any set mileage intervals. That said, it's very cheap for an OEM part ($10 to your house via EBAY Toyota #12204-31050)) and not too difficult to replace. I just replaced mine last this week at 145K. Old one was noticeably more dirty, but was still working. To my knowledge it was the first time that it has been replaced (according to all records). I have added this item to my "scheduled" maintenance items and will start replacing every 50k or so. I replaced it to see if it would cut down on oil consumption and increase gas mileage. Not enough miles on it since the change to be able to tell yet....but no noticeable difference in how the engine is running/sounding.
