Gs460
Hi for all members and i wish a happy new year for all.
I am owner of 2008 Gs460 which have 100k mile curently.
This thread is for 460 owners because the engine is common so maybe they face this issue before.
I saw alot of members talking about hestation and poor acceleration after replacing the engine oil and i am also having this issue. It start jerking, hestate, when i floor it take time to down shift ( like a L4 car *_*).There is no check Engine or any sign warning in dashboard.
I am living in middle east and my car is exported form USA and our lexus dealer will not accept to diagnosis this issue.
If any one face this issue and he solve it i hope to share it with us here.
Thanks

Mine out to be an oil leak from the fuel pump onto the O2 sensor, which caused it to go bad. My mechanic replaced the sensor and all was back to normal. My ‘08 had about 160k miles at the time.

+1 on the O2 sensor. My SC400 had some similar issues, so I had the O2 sensor and TPS replaced at the same time (TPS was giving strange readings when tested). All seemed well, then it was hit and totaled before I could do any extensive testing. Would definitely go with replacing the O2, however.

Ive had the same issue but it’s worked itself out after I switched gas stations I was filling up at. I only ever get 93 but I attributed it to either weakened octane rating or dirty fuel. But then again, the car messed up a little for one day right after I got my last oil change so maybe I need to look into the other solution people are mentioning here.

I got this code before two days
I checked all wiries and connectors and it seem normal.
Do you think that ECM is going bad and need to change?

I think you might have a weak battery or alternator. With a volt meter test both! You can also clear the codes, attach jumper cables to your battery with another running car. Let it run for awhile until you see codes pop up, if no codes show them you most likely have weak electricity.
Because I think you might have poor electrical connection somewhere, and thats not giving sufficient electricity to other electrical components which is why it is triggering the error codes.
Could be something stupid as a corroded battery terminal. Clean inspect and test everything!
