07 gs low beam out, not bulb
07 gs low beam out, not bulb (switched sides to chk). Best info found indicates ballast, got one, can i access thru wheelwell? Because, only sadistic automakers/engineers who secretly despise their customers would produce vehicles that require one to take THE BUMPER OFF simply to fix a headlight. Wtf?

Crap. That's what I thought. Thanks fot the responses. No sign of water inside, and could it really b a fuse? All other lights work incl rt side low beam. Bulb works when swapped too.

Yes it could, when i purchased my car tje left low beam was out abd turned to be a fuse, there are fuses for each side. Your manual for fuse diagram.

I recommend buying your part first. You can get a OEM ballast on Amazon for $89 or less.
Save a few bucks by having a small shop that specializes in Japanese imports to remove the bumper and install if you’re not mechanically inclined. I had this done a few months ago. I was lucky to find a technician who’s familiar with early model Lexus vehicles.
