i noticed that my pass. side headlight was out so i went to walmart and bought 1 9005 bulb and replaced it....however, its still not working and only the high beam works...Anyone have an idea on what could be the problem??

 

What year is your car?

Since you said you replaced a 9005 bulb, you may have only replaced your high beam/DRL bulb. Depending on what year your car is, the low beam bulb is a 9006 (92-96), a H7 (97-04), or a H11 (05-06).

 

its a '98 and one i took off had 9005 so that what i bought....i also tried pulling the driver side bulb and put in pass and same thing no low beam and only heam beam??? could it be a relay??

 

Well, you're saying you removed a 9005, but the 9005 bulb on a 98 is the high beam/DRL bulb. The low beam bulb is a H7.

 

your right, i thought there was only one blub for low/high beam
