2011 gs350 worth it?
in a rough spot to buy this black 2011 gs350.
is it worth it for 20k plus $750 shipping?
it has 54k and one owner real nice and clean
its out of state but dealer is willing to ship
i tried to get the price lower but they will only take 500$ off
i need to make a decision, what you guys think?
i feel like 18-19k shipped is a better deal but they wont budge

Black on black
i finally got the vin in mylexus to see service history.
shows theres was left fender damage and right quarter panel and right rear damage
all repaired and refinshed by lexus.
can i use that info to negotiate some more? Or just forget about the car?
Carfax shows no accidents so i dont know how the car was damaged or how bad it was.
thoughts?

I would use that to renegotiate the price on the car. Is this a clean title car? or rebuild / slvg title? Are you buying it from Lexus dealership or someone else? Any factory warranty left over? I would call Lexus customer care and ask if there is any remaining factory warranty on it. Black on black is a great combo!! Although I am planning to sell my GS but overall GS are simply amazing cars!

It is clean title coming a from a used car dealer that sells luxury vehicles.
Just got off phone with the lexus dealership that did the work on it and they said they dont know how bad the damage was but said it was a good deal still. I wouldnt know if there is permanent damage if it was in a accident like alignment issues and such.
I could always order a independent 3rd party pre inspection service to check for these issues which i plan to do anyway with buying a car out of state.
if you dont mind me asking, why you selling yours?
this will be my first Lexus and first big car purchase so i want to do it right.
pretty torn on what to do next though. Renegotiate or move on to the next?
i love how the one im interested in is a 1 owner with low miles.

Don't know if this is helpful info for the OP but as a basis for comparison. In June, I bought a very clean 2008 White GS350 with just under 52k miles. Non ML but with Nav, ksport coilovers and tanabe exhaust as well as all the bulbs swapped for LED and upgraded headlights. It also had good service history. Private sale negotiated at $15k. I feel like I got a great deal and under market value because I bought it in the bay area where there are many GS' for sale. That said, if you love the color combo and the mileage for that model year, maybe it's worth the extra couple thousand...

Keep on looking
In July I bought a 2011 GS350 with 15,000 miles from a dealership for $22,000. It said in the Carfax that it had been in an accident, but what had happened is that the previous owner thought that the accelerator had surged ahead into a wall, had scratched the front bumper slightly, but still recorded as an accident. Mine is an AWD without the ML, but it is perfect. I had looked for 18 months for it before settling on it. There are still some good deals out there--probably better than what you're looking at right now.
CarGurus.com has a 2011 GS350 with 31,180 miles for $19,570. There is a 2010 GS350 AWD with 25,296 miles for $14,900 and there is a 2010 GS350 AWD with 34,204 miles for $18,995. A couple of weeks ago there was a 2011 GS350 AWD in Colorado with only 14,000 for sale at about $22,000. There are rare but do come up from time to time. I think I would pass on this deal you're considering and look for another deal.
