Engine questions
What are the core differences between the 2UZFE and the 3UZFE? Do they share any internals?
Reason I ask, is I was wondering if the cranks from a 4.7 be put in a 4.3.

Displacement change: 1.8%, equal to 78cc, you wouldn't even feel it (the average human perception of changes in force is about 5%: can just about tell the difference between a 20 lb. weight and a 21 lb. weight).
Most of the engine size is larger bore, your 3UZ is 91mm bore, the 2UZ is 94mm, and replacing the liners $$$.
IDK if the crank actually fits, but it's going to be expensive and definitely requires rebalancing to your piston weights.
You might use a complete 2UZ, but it's iron (heavy) and (IIRC) all the intake manifolds are too tall for your engine bay.
