I've had both headlights replaced for different reasons. One from warranty and one from accident but both have been failing me recently.
I have an appt w dealer soon but I thought I would share this to see if anyone else has had this experience and if their warranty covered it.
The accident replacement which was less than 6mo ago is completely out, and has been for about a month.
The warranty replacement, which was over 3 years ago, goes in and out for the past 2 weeks. Most times it shuts off when I make a right turn, I have to turn my headlight **** to off then on for them to come back on, but it is a strange phenomenon.
I have this exact issue with the bulbs you are describing. it would turn off at every turn and I thought it was afs messing with it, but it was just a bad/old bulb. I eventually replaced them with the Toshiba's and they solved that issue ever since. In your case, I would definitely have the dealer look at it to make sure it isn't electrical since both actual headlights have been replaced.
Plus checking the adjustment of the igniter connection to the bulb, if it wasn't properly fitted in, it could get loose or it could hit the aluminum lever inside the headlight when the AFS swivel motor acts, as you refer when turning left or right.
